Since the famous academicican Mr. Ta-Tu Ma delivered the "Micro Performated Sound Absorbing Panel Theory" in the 1970's, it invited numerous countries around the World to plunge rushly into the research and apply onto prevention of noise pollution and replacement of harmful absorbing substance, such as mineral wool and fiberglass wool.
Due to CKM's aware of what the influence and harm that noise pollution can do to human body and quality of daily life, we therefore collaborated with National Science Council's Industry Elevation Program and National Cheng Kung University Sound Lab since in the year of 2001 to proceed the research of soundabsorbing perforation panel. In the end, CKM succeeded in developing wide frequency micro perforated sound absorbing metallic panel, SoundMicro.
SoundMicro has a perforation diameter of 0.08mm, which is much smaller than 0.50mm developed by other countries. SoundMicro not only researched the sound absorption rate of NRC 0.85, but also had confirmed to high efficient green building material value of αω0.8 in Taiwan. Currently, CKM offers the thickness of aluminum plate amid 0.8~1.0mm for customer's options.
Needs no stuff as an absorption material is a significant characteristic of SoundMicro. The panel itself is a fine sound absorption material and accompany with several advantages such as nontoxic, fire-proof, corrosion prevented, moisture proof, high performance of sound absorption, good durability, various color available and easy cutting and assembly.
SoundMicro can be applied in high temperature, high humidity, clean and high velocity air flow fields. It's also applicable to relative pollution prevented industries such as architecture, construction, air-conditioning, mechanical, electronic, medical, transportation, etc .. SoundMicro is a dust proof, fire proof, water proof and toxic-free durable sound absorption material.
●Material Characteristics：
The aluminum plate shall be 1.0mm thick, and the width of the eniarged hole shall be less than 0.08mm to avoid dust. After being treated the waterproofing paint shall be coated by a static method in forming 20mic of film thickness without clogging holes with small diameters. Further, the coating shall not stick into any sound-absorption material to achieve normal sound-absorbing function and loger service life.
●Performance：

Single-layer Sound-absorbing Rate Test:To pass the test of TAF certification If the air layer is over 10cm, then it shall meet the ASTM C423 requirements; when NRC reaches 0.7, the ISO 11654 αωvalue shall also be 0.65.

Double-layer Sound-absorbing Rate Test: To pass the test of TAF certification. If the air layer is over 10cm, then it shall meet the ASTM C423 requirements; when NRC reaches 0.85, the ISO 11654 αω value shall also be 0.80.

When using the super-fine plate on the sound-absorbing wall, it shall be able to reduce the noise level to 6dB in addition to the aforesaid sound-absorbing function.
